It takes place in the land of Tír Nascath, a world overrun with monsters, faeries and the vengeful dead. Legend in the Mist’s main setting is a world of “rustic fantasy” inspired by classic folklore, centered around unlikely heroes from humble towns who explore a world full of mystery and wonder. Even without this genre in place, though, Legend in the Mist is still fundamentally a “conversational” roleplaying game where characters and challenges are built out of themes instead of numbers.
