When Wilson ended up in Japan, he signed up with a local crime syndicate and was given an oni mask that grants him an ogre's strength and durability, to carry his many guns. However, he must wear it at all times, even when sleeping. He doesn't remember when he last took it off, but his dreams are becoming nightmarish, and he feels a lust for violence and chaos that isn't his own. Before he came to Tokyo, Wilson served in an undisclosed international or corporate military force. His service hardened him and instilled in him the determination and skills of a soldier. However, it also left its scars on him, manifesting in his unwillingness to revisit his memories of old battles.
